The chief executive officer of Vintage Estate Homes and Mercedes Homes, Scott Buescher has more than three decades of experience furnishing home building and land development solutions in Texas, North Carolina, and Florida. Playing a pivotal role in Mercedes Homes’ success, Scott Buescher collaborated with other senior executives to develop the annual and five-year strategic and business plans that led Mercedes Homes to become the fifteenth largest home builder in the country at its peak. This included launching company divisions to achieve new market presence and selecting leadership to maintain these efforts in coordination with company best practices, procedures, and policies. Additionally, he managed annual revenues totaling $1.7 billion and a loan syndicate involving 12 banks.
Among his achievements since joining the company in 1983, Buescher teamed with the Mercedes Homes marketing department to create its most successful sales promotion. The “Home of the Year” campaign ran for 16 years.
In addition to his responsibilities at Vintage Estate Homes and Mercedes Homes, he is a board member of multiple professional organizations. These include the University of Central Florida Foundation and Promise in Brevard, a nonprofit committed to furnishing housing to underserved communities.
